Ok so I decided to draw the turret from P0RTAL again, it seems my scanner was being dumb and made a black line on the right side. Oh well, the only part painted in GIMP was the mono-eye, the rest is pencil and ink. Enjoy!Related content

Also, Portal turrets, while certainly lethal, are actually less so than a more conventional firearm. Why? For one, the central body is almost entirely devoted to bullet storage and they just dump 'em in there, so it's entirely possible some of the rounds ended up backwards while they were "loading" them. Also, each gun uses a spring mechanism to, as Cave Johnson put it, "fire the whole bullet." That's the entire bullet: tip, casing, propellant charge, and all, flung at you with a wound up spring. With all that in mind, it really does beg the question: were Cave's scientists drunk when they were designing this thing, or did they taste the moon gel and become afflicted with a deadly moon poison?

wow, just like it. did you draw looking at it or by heart? if so, impressive! Anyway, you culd detail the painting a bit more, it looks... incomplete ¬¬

Yeah, it may look incomplete. Then again I was just starting to get the hang of digital coloring and learning how to layer using my scanned drawings. But yeah, this one is already 2yrs old, though I may draw up another again once P0RTAL 2 comes out

I just beat this game for the first time 8 days ago. It was so amazing! However,I was reading other comments on thsi picture and I never did know that you could pick up the turrets. I always just rubbed up against them until they fell. Still,awesome picture,and the companion cube is awesome.
