Maddie dug her face into her husband's shoulder, tears leaking from her eyes. Jack's eyes were ablaze with anger as tears welled up in his own eyes.

Jazz was screaming herself, but it was muffled under the handkerchief tied around her mouth.

Sam was bawling in tears, her own face nuzzled into Tucker's side. Tucker was just wide eyed in horror as a tear rolled down his cheek.

Danny's screaming faded into silence but his body was still wracking in pain as his mouth hung open and his eyes opened wide, staring off into no place in particular.
