Still doing retarded amounts of SH art in between work.So like, I draw too much of the main characters and not nearly enough of the secondary ones.
I will come right out and say that I adore Maria as a character-- she gets a lot of hate but idk she's such an interesting antagonist.
SO HAVE SOME MARIAS.
1) James needs an adult.
2) Bcuz hos can b bros 2.
Maria + PH totes = frienemies, amirite?
3) ".... Well, now what?"
A doodle that was supposed to be silly but wound up being kind of serious.
One of the things that I find so interesting about Maria is the fact that, despite the fact that she was created exclusively as a fantasy with which to keep James in denial, she still has her own thoughts and feelings on the matter.
In the end, I think if she won the final fight against him, I don't think she'd quite know what to do with herself after that. <8/

The Bros-4-lyfe picture is pure awesome, loving their little synchronized strut.
And the grey-red contrast of the last one is just stunning. Maria's look suggests to me that she's not all that happy about being without her derpy companion. SADFACE 8C

And yeah, Maria has a bit of a sad. James might be a gigantic derp but come on, how could you kill a guy like that and NOT feel like utter crap afterwards? 8(

It's really good! Which kinda says a lot, since I'm not normally one for fanfics.
I seem to be lucky with the SH fandom and only come across the good fics. 'Cousre, I've ever read three, including yours.

Neither am I, do be honest-- this is the first time I've written fanfiction in YEARS-- not since I was fourteen or so. I still go out and hunt down fanfic to read as a guilty pleasure sometimes but it's usually pretty hard to find good ones.
But at some point I got hit with the writing bug again, and no one seemed to have written anything for Silent Hill along the lines of Gravity, so... XD;; I couldn't resist. But yeah, I'd love to hear your feedback on it. XD Every little bit helps!

YEAH, oh man, if there's one thing I really love about SH, it's that none of the characters (at least in Origins-4...) are really airbrushed. They've got a lot of physical imperfections that just... make them more interesting to look at.
She totally does! D: She gets so much hate. I mean... I understand WHY, but still. XD She's such a great character.

Oddly enough, I don't hate her. The same can be said for Laura. They're both very interesting characters with more to them than meets the eye. A lot of people are quick to jump on the hate bandwagon. xD

Yeah, I definitely don't hate her. Especially after watching Born From a Wish. She can definitely be annoying (and you have NO idea how many times I jumped and yelped when she MAGICALLY TELEPORTED INTO A ROOM ahead of James seriously Maria what the FUCK) but she's just such an interesting character. :/ Same with Laura.
XD So yeah, like, I don't really get the people who just.... POINTLESSLY hate on a character. There's a lot to 'em.

Yes. xD But in the end, we are able to push past their little annoyances and find their place in their respective role within the plot.
And I agree. Some protagonists are somewhat misunderstood... Like Claudia. Bat shit insane, but for a legit reason. xD It'd be like hating on Eddie because he's fat.
She DOES. D': Holy crap. Though, admittedly, I wouldn't mind getting a little insight as to why she decided to do what she did. Going from a relatively attractive semi-prostitute figure to that crazy religious fanatic who runs around in a tie without shoes.
I admit, movie Pyramid head was ok, but I'll always prefer the game. I don't see why they made him 7 foot with skirt apron barely hanging off his rippling form. Last I saw, he was nearly as tall as James. And they took his 'gloves' D: The travesty.

Yeah, I don't find any of the SH villains (except for Dahlia and Kaufmann because they're just kind of power-hungry) unsympathetic, which is one of the many reasons I love those games to death.
And yeah, gotta wonder. XD I'm guessing she was kind of crazy all along. I mean even her costume in Origins is kind of weird. XD
Yeah, I will give this to the movie; the artistic design was just amazing. They did a great job of designing the monsters and capturing the atmosphere. But still-- original PH for the win.

XD Aw man, you totally should! There actually really aren't any zombies in the games-- it's more about psychology and mythology than, say, Resident Evil.
And... hm, I think it is technically a first-person shooter (though I am nowhere near an expert) but it's just. Really awesome. Absolutely worth a look, even if you just find a play-through on Youtube and watch that.

I don't always comment but your little Silent Hill sketches are always fun to check out. You just have some rather interesting (and funny) ideas when it comes to working around in this universe and it's, well, for lack of a better word, fun.

BEST EVER D8 <3 YOU KNOW I LOVE THESE AND ESPECIALLY THE LAST ONE. It's so beautiful. The shading and just the detail in general is spectacular! The blood actually looks really amazing and the contrast of the red with the grays is just gorgeous! Her expression never fails to make me feel sorry for her.
I am actually really happy that it turned out the way it did, I think this is WAY more accurate.
