David Xanatos is one of the all time great villans. He was complicated before it was the standard. While most supervillans of his era were obsessed with thwarting their foes, Xanatos felt like he didn't much care if the Gargoyles got in his way. Most of the time he confidently greets them feeling (deservedly) that he already won.
I've been rewatching the series and as an adult I can really appreciate the chemistry between Elisa and Xanatos. She hates his guts, she barely hinders him. So of course I had to draw my ship.
