Finally done!My newest work from the dc-mk universe:
Kaitou Kid and Conan Edogawa, how they escape from the Black Organisation, after Kid finally found Pandora
Took me quite a lot of time, but I really like it!
The dots in the skyscrapers were highly annoying, but the lightstreams from Pandora were really fun to draw
Virtual cookies for everyone, who can name at least two caracters from the BO, who are standing on the roof
If you see any mistake, let me know it
Ah well, Kid's hangglider, but that's my first time, that I drew it and without pattern
Now, I'll continue with the next ones...don't know, how much time I need for the next

There's Gin, Vermouth and the gorilla in the back is Vodka. That's what I think. Awesome picture by the way.

Well, on the subject of Snake and the BO, I've always explained it due to Snake Alcohol, which actually exists. It's Chinese in origin and usually small non-venomous snakes are pickled in whiskey or other spirits and people drink it, snake and all.
So.
But no, aside from anatomy issues, the only issue I see are the way the bullets are represented. It gets the point across, but it seems awkward to have those lines. To add a sense of urgency to the picture, I'd advise instead representing the passage of the bullets rather than the bullets and the path.

Yeah, I heard that an alcohol named snake really exists...I wasn't sure if it was true.
Well, I know it could have been better, just mind that I drew this picture 1 and 3/4 years ago...I would have done it in a different way if I would draw it now but it isn't that bad that I would draw the same picture again.

/shrug Well, it just now came through on the Detective Conan community I'm watching, so I'll admit I didn't pay too much attention to the date.
Also, your reply seems a bit defensive- I wasn't saying it was a bad picture in the first place, or that you didn't know what you were doing. Your original description asked for critique, so I gave it.
Also, I've seen a good many of your deviations on the multiple communities I watch, and some of the issues with this picture -are- repeated in your newer works, especially with the anatomy.
Honestly, if someone were to go back through my gallery and give good, honest, thorough critique of my work, I would be thrilled. It's one of the ways artists grow, after all.
But no, really. I'm not saying you suck, because you don't, and everyone had to start somewhere. I'm just giving you points to think about. Especially since 1.75 years ago isn't really that long and people can easily go longer than that concentrating on one area of improvement and still be at the same place on others.
Hell, the gun in my ID on my page marks several hours carefully studying firearms because I hadn't drawn one in years and, frankly, sucked at them.

Yeah, it was the group #kaitou-kid , right? It was on there before but since the admin didn't migrate the old deviations into the new system, I just submitted them again there...
Oh, I see^^° No, that's just the way I look at quite a lot of my old pictures...
And since I haven't just drawn it, I didn't remember what I wrote back then^^°
I know, at the moment, I think that's the most difficult thing for me...get the anatomy right...^^° I'm already trying to not make huge faults.
Yeah? I think a critique that does this should also look at the improvements before writing a critique or they tell the artists what he/she already knows and has improved.
I know...^^° I've also got a few friends, who didn't seem to have improved much over all the time...
I think my improvement in the digital art category is quite good...I got this far in 2. 25 years...and I'm finally somewhere where I like my own art...
I can guess...I suck at machines, buildings, streets and all that...I really need to get better with backgrounds.

I think so? |D I watch, like, eighty bajillion DC/MK groups because I'm hopelessly addicted. I usually just go 'ooooh art' and don't pay attention to where it is.
Yeah, anatomy is... difficult. It does get easier with practice, but sometimes having a good-humored friend stand there and model something for you is invaluable. Also, =SenshiStock , which geared towards Sailor Moon, has proven wonderful on the occasions when I'm stuck and can't get the pose from head to paper.
Oh, I agree. If someone were to go back to my older deviations and be like 'STOP USING DODGE AND BURN FOR EVERYTHING GOD' I'd be very :/ about it, because I haven't done that in years.
For me, buildings, and street views, and stuff aren't too bad. I had an art teacher in high school that drilled us on perspective for a good quarter of the year. Cars are a challenge, as is most heavy machinery. For me, it's mainly animals and dynamic poses.

Well, I watch quite a lot too...and not only on da of course xD But I don't watch every group because I'm not a huge fan of all dc characters.
Yeah, I miss something like that...I have searched for references as well but I usually couldn't find the poses I needed^^° Well, there're a lot of poses. Cool, I look at that if I need references again, thanks xD I often come up with good pictures in mind but I also often don't know how to draw these poses^^°
Yeah, guess I'd be the same. I used it once since I read in a tutorial that it's very useful...I haven't found it very useful^^°
Yeah, we did a little perspective in school as well but not enough for that...animals are alright if I have a good reference, cars trouble me as well.

XD;; I actually have to think about which characters I'm not a fan of, honestly. Well, I like all of them, so I guess it's more which do I like enough to stalk dA communities about them.
XD Haha, no problem. She keeps them pretty well sorted from what I remember. And yeah, same here. I'm working on one now of a DC OC and it's like '....asdkjaklsdjasdklj foreshortening wut'. Eventually, even with references, I had to say 'not messing with it any more before I make it worse'.
Well, it can be useful in very limited applications. I use it to color eyes sometimes. But that's about it |D;;
I can draw dragons and birds just fine. Cats, dogs... bah. I always end up breaking out references and anatomy studies for those.

Yeah, I rarely use it...it just doesn't make the colours how I want it.
Dragons and birds are the easiest animals for me, too xD Basically, because I draw them so much. But I think others would go as well if the picture doesn't need to be perfect...

No, there isn't. But there are quite a lot of fanfictions, that feature their enemies being the same organisation...I just liked that idea

I really like this one! I'm writing Snake as being in the BO in my story... I just messed a little and changed his codename to Sake. For the sake of the purists, I'm saying that since he does a lot of contact work outside the BO, he has a lot of aliases. Pandora looks brilliant, BTW. Are Chianti and Korn up there too? I mean, if you're trying to shoot someone down, you'd probably want snipers...

I would think that Snake is just in a different side group than the ohers. Maybe not all of the BO is using names of alcoholic drinks...?
Hmmm...they might be up there, as well. But they are not recognizeable like the other three.

Cool! I've always thought the story would turn out extra exciting if their enemies are the same. It's a little funny that their codenames don't match up (alcohol vs. animals) but in my fanfics and such I've explained that it's because they're different sections of the bigger Black org. (LOL I'm so used to calling them BO
