Draft horses are amazing. I am not around them often so when I am it is really cool to see how huge their hooves are, and how tall they are.
Considering also, most of the horses at the ranch I board at are small for even a horse. I think there are only two who are 15hh and over. Most are around 14h. Mine is 13hh. XD

They are amazing. At the farm where I used to ride (I left over disagreements with the owner/my former trainer, things just got crazy) My friend had a Belgian Draft Horse named Captain Jack Sparrow (Yes, after the movie) He was at least 17hh, and he was sooo fun to ride. Riding him bareback was like riding a big huge living pillow.
Haha, Princess is 14'3hh. An inch shorter and she'd be technically classified as pony size. Lucy is 16hh, I like both of them exactly the way they are. Princess may be short, but she's powerful, and very fast.

Yeah Polly is 13.2hh, is a pony but she's a thick boned one and can carry small adults and still get some speed. I've never really full out galloped her except when barrel racing but we can keep up with all the Arabians at my ranch no problem at a canter. We also have a Shetland that my friend rides (even though she's almost to big for him) and he can trot faster than the big horses because he just moves his legs so quickly.
We have this big old Appendix that I've ridden bareback before. He has such a big trot that is really hard to sit because you have so much air time.
