when i first saw date masamune on a video on youtube the first thing that i thought that "he's a very cool and badass character bec. of his 6 swords" and second is that "what is that thing on his helmet?---horns or something??....it looks like that it can poke out someone's eye LOL"Related content

Yeah i really liked Kojuro on that episode! He's so cool he's now my 2nd favorite SB character now...

huh, when i think about how yukimura gets tortured with that for a while...
it JUST occurred to me that it seems like yukimura gets tortured the MOST in the anime
i mean
think about it--if you can remember xD
that one time he's in the 'haunted castle'
and oichi's shadows are totally constricting him (he breaks free afterward)
then in the battle with mori
the light ray machine thing almost burns him to death (but of course yukimura burns even hotter than the sun)
and then every time with OYAKATASAMA
i wonder....

poor yukimura....but i think that's wat makes him cuter...when he's brawling and arguing with oyakata sama then he's gonna realize oyakata-sama's point and ends up praising him

It's a crescent moon. It was a feared battle symbol back then.
Masamunes helmet and eye patch was what mostly stuck out about him, and made him one of the most recognizable Daimyo of his time. =3

I remembered from some TV show/anime(I really cant remember)hearing a line that says "seeing a cresent moon during the day is a symbol of luck in a battle" or something like that..Does it have a relation in why date chose the cresent moon symbol?? just asking

Yeah I was surprised when I watch SB season 1 for the 2nd time when I heard Yukimura say "cresent moon" headdress...All I can say was "Aahhh....so that's a moon" LOL

It was supposed to make him look bigger and intimidating because the historical Masamune was a shortie. Though I dunno how Koju didn't lose an eye on a normal basis!
