Let’s be honest, I caught the Bowsette Fever, haha! The fan-made phenomenon has been pretty impressive and a rare case of Netizens coming together in a positive yet humorously quirky light. The moment I saw the meme take off, I knew I wanted to do my own take.

The title was inspired by The Commodores' /Rob Zombie’s “Brick House” which I think should frankly be Bowsette’s official anthem.

Also, the way I drew Bowsette’s character style is a bit of an Easter egg in itself. If you recognize her design, you should be both proud and ashamed, lol! I kid!

This piece is a testament to the fact that my artistic endeavors have been a bit staggered lately. Due to some positive, but busy professional life changes mixed with a fast-paced holiday season, it literally took me three months to create what’s usually a month-long project. I maybe going turtle speed, but I’m still move’n and shake’n.
