(I totally lost track of this AU and I'm so sorry, because I really like this and want to explore this AU further!!)

After getting the clear from, Maria and Jackson, the group went ahead and entered the bunker, located behind the Kites. They firgued the monstrous couple's offspring had abandoned the area long ago and proceeded to the bunker. The squad of Kiryū 7 took a long elevator ride down into the bunker, a ride that lasted a good 10 minutes, all the white Oliver complained about his broken leg.
On the way down, Rayan, attempts to converse with Rei. The two had not spoken ever since Kazuma died, and even before that they rarely spoke. They only knew each other through Kazuma. Needless to say their conversation was strained and awkward at best.
Thankfully the elevator stopped and the group was on the move again.

The bunker was a very large place, and navigating had proven difficult. Once they discovered Med-bay, Oliver was immediately placed there where Clara could properly tend to him. While Oliver, Clara, and Diego remained in med bay, the others explored the base for supplies and to clear any enemies. They split into three teams, paired up with Rei was Rayan.
They were seeking out food and well...anything they could use to get off of this feral planet.

During exploration, Rei wandered off and found out where the Kite larvae went off too. A nest of large worm-like creatures, crawled for her in droves, seeing her as a viable source of food. Rei tried to fend for herself, with the help of the trusty Tempest suite, but the sheer number of Kite Larvae quickly overrun her. As she was about to have her flesh munched on, something behind the larvae tore through the swarm, like a scythe reaping wheat.
It happened so...fast...so fast and so...violently. All Rei could focus on was the carnage. Younglings being torn open and apart. Disemboweled, devoured, and beaten into bloodied pulsp, screaming in their foreign tongues. Until the only thing Rei could see was red. She felt frozen in place, trembling, unsure what to do. When the screaming stopped a figure towered over her, dangling her prized necklace in front of her face. A low rumble emitted from the figure's chest and escaped its mangled blood-stained maw, and pink tongue escaped through its lips and lapped up the blood staining its face. Though it looked much MUCH different, Rei recognized the creature before her.
"A-Alpha 1?"
As if to confirm her words it moved towards her ever so slightly, and lightly grazed her cheek with a closed fist. Alpha 1 now towered over Rei, and possibly over the ever so tall, Jackson. Its frail frame was now bulked with muscles, and pieces of its bone-like armor was chipped off. A mouth had appeared with a full set of mangled predatory teeth. Golden eyes had formed in its black sockets, and a single horn had begun development.
