INFORMATION:
Shane Vancel was a member of Clan Vancel, born to Mandalorian warriors Tarval and Kesalla Vancel. He is the godson of the Mandalorian Jedi, Kento Vizsla and Kento's wife, Laira, with Kento and Laira being Shane's godparents/surrogate aunt and uncle. However, during the Siege of Mandalore, Shane witnessed his parents be killed by Imperial forces, and escaped on his father's ship, the Emerald Mythosaur. As Shane grew up, he became a vigilante who fought Imperial forces and looked out for the little guy. He later formed his own group of anti-Empire freedom fighters/heroes-for-hire known as 'The Outlaws' with the Togruta Partisan agent, Mora Han, the Zygerrian warrior and former slave-trader, Dost Sarlek, the Wookiee Partisan soldier, Gonghan, and the Zabrak Jedi Purge survivor, Zhanu Karrar.
