cool!
i do like the concept of hexagonal menus (made one myself)
However, not sure how I feel about doing that to the Windows Start Menu...
Depending on how it was laid-out, maybe... but I prefer the long list of things versus cluttering the screen with graphical representations of stuff, and thus usually requiring lotsa scrolling. (got to mess around with windows 8 a couple of weeks ago, my programs would be an ABSOLUTE PAIN to launch from the windows 8 start menu, cuz I have tons)
And that's assuming this IS the Start menu, but I'm guessing that from the Windows logo on the main button?
Is this free to use for...whatever?
I'm always looking for and/or finding cool stuff to use for customization of my OS and applications!

yes its free for everyone you can use it,well i like how for example xlaunchpad is launched but it can be a start menu

Honestly, I wouldn't likely use it for a start menu, not without some careful planning. Also, if a sub-group has more than 5 items (since 1/6 sides is taken already...except for the first button) , might be hard using a hexagon for the entire menu. You'd have to group the menu in a different way, or use a different shape, or something... Like say you have all the adobe utilities installed. A LOT more than 6 of them.
That's just my concerns there.
Would work great for a game or another individual application, though...
Or even as a custom start menu type of application. Since, well... patching the system to support a menu layout like that is nothing short of risky.
