Description I know it's not terribly accurate. Greek Mythology doesn't explain much about appearance but that's how it is. This was done for a project as well as the theme "Expectations". Why? Because! Gods and Goddesses had high expectations from the people as well as the people having expectations for the gods themselves.

Apollo: God of Sun, Archery, Light, Music, Healing, Poetry, Acts, Truth, etc.
Artemis: Goddess of the Hunt, also known to be the goddess of Moon. (She also has healing abilities though she never often used them.)

I think this is possible one of the most accurate yet! Good job!

I love this *faves*

Although, I portray Apollo as a more emotional character.

Oh. <3 Lovely work. 8D

We're starting on Mythology too. And I've been searching for images of the gods to get an idea of what outfits should look like. We're going to be impersonating them, I'm afraid. U__U

I adore how the clothing appears though. <3

Haha. I have to admit that this is one of my older works. About half a year ago.

I would say that this is a slightly sad imitation of the Mythology type clothing, and as far as I know most of them are depicted naked. o.O Though, I'm pretty sure you don't want to impersonate them in that sense.

For a goddess, I'd say any loose clothing draping along the shoulders and probably maybe just bare shouldered. Maybe something that covers the whole body down to the floor or cutting off at the ankles. Along the waist should be a rope or some kind of hold(like how some people wear belts along their midsection on top of their clothes). The fabric should kind of fluff out though, like it's loose and majestic.
Hope that wasn't too confusing. ;D Good luck.

Why thank you. 8D

That's what I had planned as well. <3 Having a belt around the midsection had crossed my mind while I was discussing costumes with my classmates. :]

We're about to learn these greek mythology crap in English. It sounds kinda exciting but my teacher is gonna make us to tons of work.

How'd you know the colors of their hair?

Well, supposedly Apollo has "golden hair and blue eyes". Their hair is supposedly matching their persona. Like Apollo is the god of the sun so in the books it said that he has blonde hair. I heard somewhere that Artemis has brown hair, it might be related to earth somehow because she's the goddess of hunt but I have no clue. o.O
