But this time, use the idea of having Amy getting busted from trying to get Sonic out of jail and having her end up arrested and in the jail cell with Sonic.
Then... probably add some SonAmyness at the end.

Amy: I always kind of assumed that Amy did hitch a ride with Tails through the Prison Lane level and then rescued Sonic because the Tornado 2 wouldn't fit. My real question has always been how she got to Prison Island in the first place. She was there BEFORE Tails (and getting herself into a whole heap of trouble before he rescued her). But seriously, that was supposed to be secret military base that was reinforced and super strong (though honestly, how secret could it have been if Tails heard about it on satellite TV?), so how is it that Amy seemingly just waltzed on without G.U.N. even noticing? And how the heck did she even get out there?! Oh well. You did great on the comic either way. It's really funny!
