Thank you for clicking on my first pet portrait <3
For years I wanted to make a drawing of my turkish angora cat Phantom, but was afraid to fail.
Last year I made the realization that if I didn't at least try, I had failed automatically.
So I gathered all my motivation and strength and started. #justdoit
It was a difficult process to go through, my only experience with digital painting was my previous upload "the all seeing universe", and to top it off... I never did an animal portrait in my life, I always wanted to, but drawing all those individual hairs seemed so time consuming for me.
But, I did start! And quit a lot too xD I got demotivated a lot because I didn't know what I was doing. In April I finished this piece, it took me about 11 months and despise all the frustrations I had during this process, I'm pretty happy with the result and I didn't even put in all those individual hairs. That will be something I'll try in the future when I want to make a second attempt at drawing my white cat

I'd love some feedback on how to improve

I'm currently working on 3 other projects and I hope I can finish one soon, which one are you most excited for?
-> Drawing of a crested gecko
-> A landscape inspired by the Fagradalsfjall volcano eruption
-> Goblin character for one of my friends for our Pathfinder roleplay
