Description This is the culmination of a lot of different practice pieces (which I'll be posting soon) to better hash out my "Western Comic" art style. I love my manga style but I know I need to keep a fluid art style for the sake of meeting a lot of different commissioner's needs, plus locally I'm in an area that (art wise) doesn't appreciate the manga style very much so it doesn't hurt to have this in my pocket. XD

Learning spotting blacks and ink shading has been a bitch, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. XD

What do you guys think?

The mobster as the main character sounds interesting.

Love the new look! It's very "Alan Moore-esque."

This is very charming and it looks just like one of those 3 cent comics from so long ago.

I feel like this is gonna end in a VERY predictable way XD

Overall, I think you accomplished what you wanted! This looks very much like a comic book artstyle! It looks like your version of the typical DC Comic visual style! That was my exact thought before I even read the description!
