The beginning of a new story for a superhero who has been long forgotten. The Clock was the first official masked detective in comic books, but sadly, like many of the prolific Golden Age heroes he did not make the transition into iconic status like Superman or Wonder Woman and fell into obscurity... And also the public domain.

In the past 10 years a number of public domain superheroes have been making a come back (Like Dynamite's Project Superpowers series and the webcomic series Curse of the Black Terror), and decided I wanted to do that too. I decided The Clock deserves to be remembered in some way. He may not have been the most memorable masked detective, but he was the first, and I think that's something that matters.
