Description Of all the classes, I have always loved Paladins. Holy knights, defenders of the innocent, and utter badasses who are the ultimate hybrid of warriors and clerics, able to swing a sword and heal their wounds, they are the best solo class, and also a excellent member of any party. I rolled a pallie as my secondary player character in WoW, and I'm a Paladin in a current DnD campaign I'm hosting.

As for Clerics, I have to give props to those brave to play healer classes. Few people want to stay back and heal, and those who do often get unnecessary crap from people if they don't heal right or fast enough. Clerics/priests need some love.

Priest classes also need to be able to do something other than heal - otherwise, they have to wait a while before being able to take action.
