I tried a Warlock for fun once on WoW, its an okay class. Essentially wizards but their spells hurt you over time instead of "BAM! EAT LIGHTNING SUCKAS!" I never felt right playing one since their powers came from demons and such, I prefer the holy catholic esque paladins or the good wizards.

Monks I have no real experience with, I heard WoW is adding them to the list of classes soon. I know DnD has them, just never seen one in action save for some webcomics based on fantasy rpgs.
