If you guys go through my gallery, I actually drew this image last year as a traditional piece. This year I basically redrew over it to make it nicer since I did prints.I'm okay with how this came out, I know I could've made it nicer but I literally only had 2 days before the convention to get it done lol
You don't see very much Yu-gi-oh fanart around anymore, so people were very excited to see these guys.

Wow, I think these look better than the actual Yu-gi-oh artwork.
This brings back fond memories of my brother's Yu-gi-oh phase. He'd beg me to be his duel opponent, but since I didn't have a deck of my own, he'd loan me a bunch of the weak cards from his collection. Which means I never got to actually use a Red-Eyes or a Blue-Eyes myself, but I always liked them. (I actually did quite well in those duels for only having the wussy cards; my brother didn't quite understand the finer points of strategy at the time.)

This is great. Like Ying and Yang, dynamic. So lively even if the pose is a bit stiff. Those eyes.
Wich of them is the hardest to draw if I ask you? The blue-eyes or the red-eyes?

I had a little trouble with the Blue eye's face because I'm not used to drawing dragon faces as round and soft looking. Plus I kept making it's snout too long lol. The Red eyes is just naturally more vicious looking so it was much easier.

I've tried to draw both and I've more problem with blueyes as well due to the stomach scales facing in the "wrong" direction meaning forward. The scales on red-eyes goes backwards and I find that more logical.
