Well, it gets worse: 'Richard' turns into an old guy, has something close to a spaz, the sword turns green then orange, and a load of people have anger attacks at a load of other people for no reason.
All in the course of two episodes.

And since when did Darken Rahl meet Jennsen?? Who is also supposedly his sister??


Even worse, random YouTube people have destroyed perfectly good songs by putting LotS clips together to form a video. THIS IS NOT ON.

They shouldn't have listened to ABC/Disney. Originally, they were going to do it all by the books but ABC/Disney said 'no, that's gay.'

Well, they didn't, but you get the idea.

ABC/Disney wanted it all to be one-hour episodes with a 'start, beginning and end'. Where the middle went, I don't know.

I don't see what's with all the extra characters. There's plenty in the books - so many that my 0.01GB mind couldn't quite remember the minor ones. And since when did the Book of Counted Shadows exist anywhere but in Richard's head? (until later when Jagang starts raiding places )

I don't where they found the writter for the TV show, if you can even all it that. About the only things that are anywhere near the same are the characters names. I always find it channel surffing and ever since the episode where Darkn Rahl becomes Richard's brother I've ignored the very exsistence of any simularities at all. The SOT books are so unbelievable amazing, full of character development, intresting story line full of epic fight sceens and whatever is on TV and now on DVD is not SOT. The worst part of the whole event is that the TV show could have been epic it could have been 100 times closer to the books and not been the juck that's on TV, the books have so much potencial.
