It's Day 27 of TransforMAYtion, and the theme is "Human Sphinx or Chimera"!

I took a leisurely trip to the beach before it started getting too hot, and brought along a TF potion to try out for fun. The friend who gave it to me said it would make me perfectly suited for the ocean waves lapping on the sand, but left the remaining details a secret to surprise me.

I laid out my towel & took a swig of half of the potion, intending to save the rest for another time, and instantly felt its effects working their magic on me. My ears shifted upward, stretching out into some bubbly antennae-like appendages. As I reached up to feel them, I noticed my hands morphing too. My fingers started sticking together and smoothing out, as the bones in my arms loosened up. The sudden slack my arms took on nearly made me drop the potion, but I pinched my half-hand in on itself to keep my grip. I decided to quickly take a seat on my towel before any other changes could potentially throw me off-balance.

My torso was next, feeling rather ticklish as three distinct skirt-like objects sprouted out along my chest and belly. The sensation of change spread down to my legs, as they suddenly snapped together with an unexpectedly strong SLAP! The force shocked my half-hands open, unknowingly making me drop the potion while my gaze became fixed on my affected appendages. My legs weren't even physically connected, and yet I could feel my body resisting my curious attempts to pull them apart. Several seconds later, they started merging together at the knees and ankles, and my feet experienced a sticking & merging similar to what my hands went through. With one quick flop, I felt all the bones from my ankles downward effectively vanish, leaving that area feeling blubbery and especially loose.

I leaned upward and took in my changes, looking at my floppy limbs and cute new "ears". I tried wobbling my fused feet back and forth rapidly, and felt a strange surge of happiness! It was a very alien but also weirdly liberating feeling for those to be feeling so limp and squishy. My new "ears" began twitching with joy, and my whole body shivered with how giddy I was feeling. My friend had set me up to become a precious little Brionne!

But... wait. Why don't I have its cute pink nose? Why do the ends of my limbs still slightly look like hands and feet? And my tail still kind of looks like legs too... While pondering those thoughts, I looked to my side and finally noticed I'd dropped the TF potion a few minutes ago. It had shattered on the ground, spilling its remaining contents across the towel & neighboring sand. There goes that extra usage, I guess... The remnants of the potion bottle had a label on it, but I'd deliberately not read it previously, in the event it would've given away what I would become. I steadied myself on my side and pressed my limber half-hands together to hold up the label so I could read it.

"Drink ALL". ...Oh.

I briefly pondered those two words, putting one of my limp half-flippers on my chin in the best thinking pose that extremity could muster. This... would explain a lot. The half-changed ends of my limbs, the absence of certain body features, the fact that I hadn't felt any additional changes in several minutes... A moment of stunned silence left me with the realization that my body truly wouldn't be transforming any further, and that I'd be spending the day as a partial Brionne *sphinx* instead of as a complete seal.

One more minute passed as my mind perused all that had just happened, and then... I shrugged. So what if I'm not a complete Brionne? I'm still technically SOMETHING new, and that's enough for me to still have fun today! I sat up and flung my body around, putting myself in a belly-down position facing the ocean. I flopped myself forward a few inches at a time, relishing in the feeling of inconvenience from being unable to simply WALK toward the water. At last, I splashed into the cool seawater, spending the rest of the day splashing, swimming, and trying out my half-human half-Brionne body in any way I could imagine!
