Ok, i got really into the Gravity Falls series again to catch up on where it currently is, which brought on this awesome character: Bill Cipher.

Bill make his first appearance in the show like this, in the season finale of season one's two part episode. For those who don't know, Bill is a dream demon who is summoned by little Gideon who wants Bill to enter Gruncle Stan's mind and dreams to find a memory of a password. that password opens the safe that Stan has hidden the deed to his home. (If you want more on how this is important, look it up).

Any ways, Bill tries to steal the password only to be stopped by Dipper, Mabel and Soos. unfortunately, Gideon still finds a way to get into the safe without the code (Plan B: Explosives) and things start going downhill from there. But that's not the interesting thing.

Bill doesn't really get defeated so much as his deal with Gideon is terminated and so Bill leaves since he has no reason to stay in Stan's head. we don't hear from Bill again till season two, where we find out that Bill kept his promise from the first episode that we see him in. he says "I'll be watching you" to the group before he vanishes. in season 2, Bill returns and reminds Dipper that he said this while then trying to strike a deal with Dipper! which he does end up taking later in the episode.

This got me thinking - as well as all the fanart and stories i see out there. Bill seems to take a lot of interest in Dipper Pines, an unhealthy amount to be anywhere near normal. so, a lot of people - myself included - can see Bill's obsession turning into a shipping with Dipper - more commonly one-sided. and for that to happen, Bill takes on a human form!

So, here you have it. Human!Bill Cipher in all his twisted evil glory. I don't know about you, but Bill has pushed his way onto my top ten listing of cartoon villains. there's just so much about him that's unknown that many theories have popped up among GF fans just like with the Pines twins. i for one look forward to seeing more of him.

"Look kid, you've been getting way too close to figuring out some major answers. I've got big plans comin' and I don't need you gettin' in my way. Destroying that laptop was a cinch. Now I just need to destroy your journal. Race ya' to the bottom of the stairs!"
