... I think Alek is glad Filia is actually careful about hers. I think there may have been an incident after she first evolved back in Hoenn (we'll see if I remember to actually write something for that when I go back to that stuff, hopefully in the next month or so- maybe a grumpy Alek and a very apologetic Filia), but she's been real good about it while in Johto. She's even found really nice places to have it rest so she can snuggle that much more closely while not threatening to impale him (under one of the arms/shoulders would be amazing, for instance).
Fortunately I don't expect her to 'mature' a certain way very much through her teenage years, so other potential complications may not make it harder for it to stay in place... Though that could be mitigated by such 'maturation' being natural padding... Alright, going to stop thinking of her like that now... move on brain...
I will clarify that, until recently, they were most definitely of the 'we're like really close siblings- twins, even'... but they've been making me question the nature of their relationship of late with what they make me write, having them start wondering if there's something else to how they feel about each other. Guys, why you do this to me?
