Description This is another of those in-no-particular-order illustrations for a story in development. Actually, the place it's in development is the inside of my head. Occasionally a bit of it falls out on a piece of paper. This is one.

Either they have pet dragons or, when they move in, they have to deal with having dragons around like pests?

I was thinking along the lines of who is scavenging who.

Let's hope the dragons don't start burning our butts off!

Your attention to detail always makes us want to take a closer look
and we're rewarded with charming characters involved in interesting activities

and your impeccably balanced color pallet makes it oh so comfortable to stay as long as we need to take the image in very nicely done indeed

Hi Susan,

This is such a warm and moving artwork. The viewer can really identify and connect with the children and animals in the scene. I love the warm wood background, the textures and muted color palette.

Thank you for sharing your Muse with us. I wish you the best with this possible future project.

Kindly,

Grant

Thanks, Grant. Your kind response makes me very happy.

The project continues and one day it may be strung together. If not, the bits are enjoyable enough to set on paper.

Best wishes,
Susan

I really like the variety of browns that you used. It looks so warm. Also, your frames are always so lovely!
