I can't draw women worth a crap. xD I always draw them too thin or too thick... I can't seem to do that 'nicely curved, but not over-the-top' look.

That is your problem, you think alot of the form of the women body... you dont need think so much about it... the women have hips and little shoulders, men have huge shoulders and huge neck. easy.
You dont need think so much about it.
remeber nothing is perfect. just draw it, with every draw you made you improve, with every single draw you made you improve, i repeat that phrase because is important. Think about it.
