Description
I've had a few people ask me where I get my prompts from and a few friends who were looking for a prompt table to maybe help them either get back into writing or to get writing to start. So I decided to make my own.Important! This is not just for writers. If you paint, paint something for the prompt. Draw, sculpt, sew, whatever your particular passion is. Mix and match, even!
You don't have to go in order but I really want everyone who wants to do this to push themselves and complete it. I have always had issues finishing things so this is a challenge for me as well. But when I start this thing next week I am really going to make the commitment to see it through to the end.
Now how do you pick your subject matter? Well that's completely up to you! I have a separate list (Twilight type OCD much?) of characters in fandoms I feel comfortable writing, original characters and such and usually pick one of those to go with the prompt. I also use a random number generator because I can't decide anything on my own.
Anyway! If you decide to do this please let me know! I'd love to see what you come up with. Maybe we can encourage each other along the way. If enough people plan on doing it I may start a group so we can all our awesome creations together in one place.
I am so excited to get this started and looking forward to seeing what others come up with as well.

I haven't gotten anything from you in my inbox for about a week now. o_o; Your note was the first I found out about this. If I hadn't checked your blog the other day, I was afraid something had happened to you! @_@, Um, my settings must be screwed up or something.

You are so good! Almost all correct, actually. In Your Arms is a Kina Grannis song and the Come Little Children is this version: [link]

Heh, "hourglass" and "time machine" are right next to each other. I also see a few that could be tidbits from songs...

Alrighty, let's see then.... Off the top of my head...
"Smile" - Pinkie Pie
"Breathe" - Michael W. Smith? (a number of people have done versions of this song)
"(I'd Go the) Whole Wide World" - The Monkees (they did a cover, anyway)
"My Eyes" - Neil Patrick Harris from "Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog"
"Everything is Beautiful" - Ray Stevens
"Come Little Children" - I only know it from this: [link]

I'll give you "Breathe" because you're totally right about everyone else doing it. Mine is a Sheila Walsh version. "Whole Wide World" is Mindy Gledhill, "Everything is Beautiful" is Ann Marie Boskovich, an that "Come Little Children" is the exact same one!

This looks fantastic! I'd love to try the whole thing, though I doubt I'll be able to; I barely have time enough to work on my current writing projects as it is. But if I ever get a chance to use this, I'll let you know.

I totally understand. It's a busy time for a lot of people and you already have a series going on.

Wow, this is awesome! I would love to do this. I'm going to try starting it the week after next, as next week is the first week of school and I'm sure I'll be pretty busy.

I have a hard time choosing, too. I'm actually starting this week and what I'm going to be doing is using the random number generator. That might help. ^^
