It took about thirty hours, but it's finally finished! Huzzah! Obviously, I'm a sucker for detail, and it's really slowing me down. This is the sort of thing that can be achieved by someone with minimal artistic flare, but who is incredibly anal retentive and has gratuitous amounts of spare time. I think it's high time I learned how to speed paint. Despite all this, I'm happy with the end result, so I can finally get back to my uni work!Related content

Wooow. Interesting the mix of books, animals and nature. Not the kind of things that you would think normally goes together. But in this it just looks brilliant. Good job with the details cause it looks great! Love the color and the shades and everything.

Detail, detail, detail. Definitely great. The first thing I noticed when I looked at it was the way the trees were shaped, so I clicked on it, then, BAM! Detail! An awesome ability to have!

i like this but it looks like the trees are just sitting on top of the floor instead of growing out of it. the stone should be damaged from the roots forcing it out of the way, and i dont even know what to do about the rug. still, great concept and exellent execution otherwise.
