Mega Slowbro: During mega evolution the shellder changes its shape, with its new shape Slowbro's attack and defensive capabilities increases. The gem on slowbro's forehead enhances its psychic powers. With its new abilities and powers Slowbro now becomes a formidable foe and a reliable partner.
Ability: Psychic shield - Each time Slowbro uses a psychic-type move its defense will increase.

I actually like this version of Mega Slowbro over the one we are going to get. But if Slowbro got a Mega Evolution, I think that Slowking should gen too.

Making OP-looking bad-ass machines is not necessarily what mega evolution is, it's about enhancing the features that are already there. As such, I vastly prefer the official one, and I think all this hate for mega Slowbro is really silly, the design is APPROPRIATE for what Slowbro is, a derpy, dimwitted shellfish victim.

yeah you have a point there and your right about the reasoning for it it gamefreak did exactly that they took its concept to make it look dopier and very realistically they succeeded . However I myself hate the look they gone for in my opinion and they could've done it a different way but there's only so much you can do to enhance the features of a pokemon and i never created OP Mega Machines i don't understand were that comes from but i don't know this is just from my perspective that's all

Well, SOME fan-designs are bad. This artist has some other designs that are pretty good. I just think THIS one is not as good as the official one, because a design should be appropriate, not powerful for the sake of powerful.
