Edited to add: If you look closely - you'll see all people below the little fairy and fishy -- i opted to leave them in because they added a surreal factor to the piece that I liked....
they are difficult to make out at first - but then you can see them - that's why I liked it. Someone suggested I take it out because it looks odd...... I like it this way. That's why art is so subjective -- what's me may not be you and vice versa.
Sorry if it's too strange for you.
Today I feel like this -- like a little (or not so little) fish out of water. The castle is right there within reach - but just not quite there yet....
I like to think that the little fairy and fishy can make it without a problem.... the same goes for me too.

Not only is this picture beautifully crafted and visually interesting, but the artist comment is spot on. Everyone looks at an image differently and sees it through their own eyes. I'm glad that others' opinion of your work didn't diminish how you felt about it because, again, it is a beautiful piece!
