Edited to add: If you look closely - you'll see all people below the little fairy and fishy -- i opted to leave them in because they added a surreal factor to the piece that I liked....
they are difficult to make out at first - but then you can see them - that's why I liked it. Someone suggested I take it out because it looks odd...... I like it this way. That's why art is so subjective -- what's me may not be you and vice versa.
Sorry if it's too strange for you.
Today I feel like this -- like a little (or not so little) fish out of water. The castle is right there within reach - but just not quite there yet....
I like to think that the little fairy and fishy can make it without a problem.... the same goes for me too.

Hmmm - In fact, the people would be the whole point of the piece. That is, without the people, it's a great fantasy piece. WITH them, it becomes a big piece filled with symbolism. It is allegorical. Aren't we all, at times, little fishes out of water? Aren't the people waiting for little fish to be saved? The kingdom is never out of reach, just a bit of travel to get to it. You're not meant to be there just yet. You'll know when!
Life is good! You have hills and valleys to visit, experience...
