Really? Because she looks nothing like a princess to me. In fact, she looks like the complete opposite of the idealised beauty typically associated with fiction royalty: a (gasp! ) real person!

To put it in different words, your fem!Shep is undeniably beautiful, but she does not possess the kind of ethereal beauty of the stereotypical princess. Just by looking at this depiction you can say that she's tough, determined and never shies away from a fight. If we add that lovely-rendered unkempt hair and the perfect anatomical pose of her wiping her own sweat, I'd say it'd be hard to tell if this is a fantasy piece or a drawing of a real-life person!
