How long will it take for Fluttershy to learn that Max is not into her?

Fun fact: The word "mistletoe" comes from the combination of the Proto-Germanic word "mistil", which derived from the Gothic and Old High German words for "dung", which in turn comes from the Indo-European root word for "urinate" (meigh).
This word origin is due to the fact that the people of the dark ages thought they literally spontaneously grew out of those droppings (as opposed from growing within the fertile soil itself). This is the reason why the mistletoe (ironically once labelled as a pagan plant) was used in wedding ceremonies as a symbol of fertility (hence the kissing tradition)
As for the "toe" part, it came from the Old English word "-tan" (meaning "twig"); thus, the plant used to be called a "mistiltan" as a singular word in Old English, though it was mistakenly thought to be plural (much like child to children and brother to bretheren); in Old English, the singular word for "-tan" was "-toe", hence the term "mistletoe"
