Description
This is my take on the recent developments in the Mario series... it's as if though Princess Daisy keeps getting knocked to the curb given the fact that Rosalina is playable in Super Mario 3D World and in Super Smash Bros. 4. Β Here's Daisy at the Unemployment office... and Princess Peach and Rosalina taking notice of her predicament...

-This was drawn on Sketchbook Pro on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 tablet. Β It didn't have a cropping tool so I transferred the pic to my pc for further editing.

Daisy was playable in Mario Kart but I cant remember off the top of my head if she was in the Switch version.
But I love the idea of her in the unemployment queue because she cant get a slot lol.Β Well done

Daisy appeared in Mario Kart Double Dash and appearedΒ in many spinoffs since then...
The idea here is that at the time, Daisy was being overshadowed a lot by other characters... she never appeared in a main Mario game or got her own game...
More like the other way around... Peach was actually the main inspiration behind Mina's design...

This Line best this picture up:Β Orange Peach...er, Princess Daisy as a resentful Butt Monkey and The Unfavorite. It's not as common or infamous as Luigi's butt monkey status, but it's starting to get up there. Plus Luigi has gotten a lot more respect lately, getting two games, a whole year dedicated to him and remains a steadfast fan favorite and iconic star of the series. Daisy, however has had no such luck. She remains just a convenient extra in Sports, Kart and Party titles, she hasn't appeared in a Mario title in years and her status only got worse when Rosalina came along. Rosalina being added as a playable character in Super Mario 3D World and the latest Super Smash Bros.(A crowning achievement for ANY Nintendo character) just added more fuel to the fire.

Well she will appear in mario party 10, she is a costume for bayonetta and has 3 different trophy ( 4 if you count the 3ds version) in ssb4.

yea that would be great, if only nintendo would do something special for her, she did replace peach evil form, named warupichi, slap bowser in the sky in mario party 3, has a kingdom that was only seen once (unknown if daisy circuit is supoes to be taken on her kingdom), got her constellation in mario party 4 and 9, have power of flowers and crystal, got her own cruiser and allot of fans that want her to have more, like us.

I wonder if this was intended to be the message in Mario Golf World Tour for 3DS. Has anyone noticed how in the lounge area with all of Marios friends and enemies. You can see all of the characters gathered around in one room, like Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Wario, DK, Yoshi, and Diddy Kong. Meanwhile, there's a separate room with Waluigi and Daisy standing around. And what is so strange about that you ask? Because it looks like a foreshadowing of how everyone in the big room has been a playable character in a SSB entry, while Daisy and Waluigi never have, and likely won't.Β

LOL! I'm not bothered at all by the lack of Daisy in games, At least Daisy wasn't treated like Waluigi (kicked out of Mario Kart 7 period, and replaced with uncalled for characters like Honey Queen, Shyguy, Metal Mario, and Lakitu... Daisy isn't that unique compared to Peach, she's just a loud mouth and over competitive and obnoxious tomboy version of Peach. I like Peach because she's pretty, nice, and has a few kick ass fighting hidden inside her regal appearance, Daisy is just rude, loud, and unpleasant to lose against in my opinion. (If I lose in a Mario game like Mario Kart, or Mario Party, I'm always more frustrated when Daisy beat me, and I have to hear her annoying gloating.)Β I liked her a lot better in Mario Tennis and Mario Party 3. Rosalina on the other hand is a very unique princess. She's the wisest and most graceful, and she controls the stars, and has a very flowing movement. I wasn't too impressed with Rosalina, until I played as her in Super Mario 3D World, she was a character worth unlocking. I'm psyched about her being in SSB.

I love Daisy's attitude lol. I find it spunky and original. She's kind of a "being me" kinda princess that kinda like Rapunzel IMO

Keep in mind that although Daisy doesn't really seem to be interesting, it's because Nintendo has yet to develop her character. I mean, she had a bad start (she was basically in the same position as Peach when she debuted) and has been relegated to the multitude of spinoffs. Of course, this doesn't include the RPGs or Paper Mario (since this series consists of RPG and platforming elements, it's kept separate from the other RPGs).

That is so true. Unlike Peach, and Daisy's first gaming rolls, Rosalina is the only one of the 3 Mario princesses that wasn't at all a damsel in distress. She was more of a voice of wisdom, and important help for Mario's adventure in space, and rescuing Peach. That's what really makes Rosalina unique, she's like a Goddess of space almost, it would be impossible to kidnap her, if she can control the power of the cosmos.
