Why is the book much better??
I still think the film looks good though, Its a tim burton so the musics gonna rawk. Is it grousomly (yes i cant spell XD) dark??

The book version is much more interesting. It starts out after Sweeney's an established barber, and he looks really freaky- his hair's a mess and he keeps all his combs and maybe even his knives in it. x3 Johnny Depp looks well groomed and the pinnacle of good society next to the book version.

Eh... it's gory, but most of the gore seems gratuitous to me. It's definitely burton, though. The opening's really awesome.

I did do some reasearch on the origin of sweeny todd, n i prudy much found what u just said. I think they did try to give Johnny Depp an odd hair doo (god only knows they tried XDXD it looks cool tho) But in the film hes not astablished as a barber is he? (i know benjamin barker was). Anywho, i just wanna hear the dramatic music XD.

Right, I mean established like he's clearly been there for awhile. In the movie Barker was there- but then he got in trouble with the law and the movie starts with him starting his business as Sweeney. The music's really good, but of course it is- all of Burton's films have awesome music. x3
