Was also a study in getting tiny drops of various sizes in those tiny little depressions. Had my tongue sticking out and everything! Great concentration was involved I can tell you that much

Like the near symmetry of the water drops. Very interesting and abstract.

Now I need to learn how to actually lineup my camera parallel to the lines

Sorry, got caught up in the moment back there

when I was trying to focus on the drops my eye kept drifting to the grid shape and I had to keep pulling myself back to taking the photo

Wonderful picture. Depth of field is still something I'm struggling with when taking different kinds of pictures.

Thank you!

Another thing I am trying to work on is the eye strain while focusing on tiny objects in the viewfinder.

I have the same problem. I have to take a break for a few minutes afterwards because my eye is so watery.

I have tried switching eye but its not the dominate eye so my brain refuses to accept or trust the camera focus (sigh)

So yes take a break and hope the water drop doesn't evaporate too quickly. Hazard of living in a very dry region
