What's really great is that just as the sun is setting the sky transitions through so many different colors. Then add in the movement of the clouds themselves and you can have so many unique images. I told someone way back in 2010 that these sunsets are like finger prints and they never look the same from one evening to the next or even the next 15 minutes.

Though sometimes when I'm waiting for that one perfect alignment time sure can seem to drag on.

One of the reasons I wanted to move out here was the sunsets. This is one of the first sunsets I shot right after I moved to Phoenix.
