I know... when I was really close and it didn't move or run away I thought maybe it had a broken leg or something. Then all of a sudden it got up and started slowly hoping around eating. And when I mumbled that I had enough pics it took off like a small furry rocket for the other side of the yard

The goofy thing acted like he / she had a broken leg or something. Then suddenly got up and started eating some nearby grass/weeds while I circled around taking pics. When I said I was done it took off for the opposite side of the yard

went out into the back yard and there it was just laying there.

I grabbed my camera and got within 3.6 meters of it and it didn't move
thought it might have a broken leg or something but it just decided to lay down I guess
