Yaz: Uh c’mon guys, she’s not that bad! I promise!!
Spirits: No!! She’s scary!!
Nij: Ugh! (They love me! They just don’t know it yet!! >:I)

"Nij is too spikey for ghosts with the consistency of bubbles to even think about getting near her". Poor girl!
Aside from that, Nij actually…doesn’t get along with her fellow spirits. I guess on a deeper level, most of her fellow spirits don't even feel like people to her. She's more complex and can't relate.
That and she's chaotic , so anything could trigger her.
It doesn’t help that Yaz has too many spirit friends and they just kind of cling to him all cute-like. She's jealous of all the attention he's getting clearly haha
What she doesn't know is that spirits make up about 85% of Yaz's friends............

I really love this drawing! Yaz looks so soft and huggable and yes, Nij is a bit spiky. XD I really love Yaz's funny sheepish look; my eye is really drawn to it. I love the details you've been adding/changing on your OCs... Yaz's outfit and crazy hair, Nij's spike motif and especially that scarf... Also the way they're color-coded opposite is really nice!
