The recent Super Crown craze got me to remember the Super Bell.A real useful (and cute!) power-up if I do say so myself. Miles ahead of the Super Crown.
'Twas a request from a real-life friend of mine, and I was in the mood to revisit the concept.

Actually, any power-up is better than that crown, but that's enough of that; this is a great interpretation of what "Cat Link" would look like!

Thanks, I've always thought that Toon Link in general would be surprisingly fitting in the Super Mario universe.
His proportions and overall mannerisms felt like they'd be perfect for Mario!
If, of course, Nintendo would ever do such a silly thing.

Well there's been a lot of strong implications that Hyrule just might be somewhere on Mushroom World (Mario's planet). Four Swords Adventures, for instance, has enemies from the Mushroom Kingdom, and Deku Babas in general look and act like Hylian variants of Pirahna Plants.
If there's any crossover between two Nintendo properties outside of Smash Bros., this seems like the most straightforward one to do!
