Apparently there are people that complain about Pichu's reappearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.I had to do something to protect the little guy, so here's a doodle to express my stance on the situation.
Remember, Pichu is a baby! He is trying his very best.

To be honest I was always puzzled as to why they had a character that could hurt himself in Melee, but I have absolutely no issue with him coming back and I was pretty excited! Melee has my heart out of all the Smash games so seeing him return gives me joy!
I totally see Pichu really enjoy being with the younger characters in Smash- even a few fanfics I had read in the past for Melee had Pichu and Young Link being close

I've always felt that Pichu was meant to be a unique, unorthodox
type of character that when mastered, can destroy others with style!
I loved to joke around as Pichu when I was able to play Melee, so I'm hyped.
To me, Pichu would be a great kind of family pet (if it weren't for its electricity...),
so being chummy with the younger Smashers is the next best thing.

Yeah that was my guess as well! It's still sort of puzzling to me, but hey I have no issue with having two Links in Melee who are almost on point clones so I can't say much!
My favorite to joke around with was probably Captain Falcon, just thinking of the events match level with everything sped up in the F Zero level getting creamed by the cars makes me laugh just thinking about it- the only time I really enjoyed losing LOL

Why are people complaining about Pichu?Β It's not like he took a spot from any of the other veterans, and they announced early on in those famous words, "Everyone is Here!"Β Some folks will just complain about anything it seems...

I never really understood the whole "taking slots" thing.
To me, clones and semi-clones just seem like a two-for-one kind of deal, and I love it!
Yeah, but I suppose there are the salty fans that wanted their character in and think characters like Pichu are just a waste.
To them I say, "Shame on you."
