So long to 2021 and hello first artwork of 2022, hooray! As most know, I didn't make a Christmas/Winter Veil piece featuring Pete & Phe. Hence, I figured, what a more delightful way to ring in the New Year than to show them celebrating it in style! Not only that but another art piece idea on the list was used in the process too. So, it was somewhat like killing two birds with one stone.

This piece took roughly a week from start to finish. *slow Phe is still slow* That traditionally includes cleaning up certain assets I had never used before, like the Tazavesh Gearglider. Plus fitting Phe's elegant dress and giving Pete's Nobleman outfit a much-needed spit shine. The Nobleman outfit was one of the earliest clothing sets I imported for Pete when my Blender journey began. Despite that, it never has had an official appearance in any of my art pieces until now.

The original concept for this was to have our unique couple flying through the night sky with fireworks in the background, and maybe the distinctive silhouettes of trees. An idea then came to my brain of having them flying over one of the major Azeroth cities, though this creative concept had some complications. Mainly the whole faction war thing...then it struck me, why not Gilneas?!

Phe's Sims dress is by SIms4Krampus . As for Jiggles little hat and Phe's tacky sunglasses, they are thanks to Suzue . However, the glitter texture effect on the items are by me. It was loads of fun learning how to achieve such a texture.
