I admit, I do not submit my stuff here often. Which is a terrible habit that I really need to break. I am just one of those artists who has a hard time sharing her creations...Anyway, Nightmare Moon is one of my favorites from MLP:FiM. I decided to try my hand at modifying a Celestia figure into her and what you see in the pic is the end result of course!
Materials Used:
Hasbro Celestia figure
Milliput
Semi-translucent sparkly fabric
Wire
Thread
Acrylic paints
Glow-in-the-dark paint
Testors semi-gloss sealer

Pretty much, I took a Princess Celestia figure and removed both her mane and tail. From there, I used milliput epoxy to make her armor, reshape her wings and extend her horn. Milliput air dries, so you only have so long to work with it once you activate it. I sanded the areas I worked on the smooth things out. After that, I used a primer and then painted her.
The new mane and tail were handmade. I used a hot glue gun to attach them and then strengthened around the area with some milliput epoxy...
