Description
Is it possible that we plan each and every disaster?As a way to make life pass by faster
Objectively, we all see our demise
In that short moment we see our lives pass before our eyes
In death, all is forgotten
The lies and the cheating are all over turned
With the elusive thought that you "lived and learned"
But then comes the question of heaven or hell
One where nothing is forgiven;
The other in which we wait for time to tell
We all give up so easily, with no will
Loving the passion, but regretting the kill
We all foresee our death
And we all feed on the hope that we'll be the one exception
the only survivor; A strong misconception
Because death is vicarious in the way it kills
We all fear it, and on murder it gets it's cheap thrills
It feeds on us; like our thirst for hope
Like blood to a vampire; or a junkie and his dope
we all observe death and it makes us feel so alive
unable to admit that with each death
A part of ourselves die
We mourn the loss of innocence
And haven't been able to find any since
Maybe that's why we procreate;
Hoping to find once last glimpse of that innocence we once knew
Before it is far too late.
