I've started DMing a D&D game with some of my classmates (though we're probably not going to play for a while what with all our work), and one of them plays a half-elf warlock. While creating a character, he really liked the idea of a drow as well, so during the session we concluded her elven blood comes from a drow.

That's a really interesting idea to me, so I wanted to work that out. What would you get with a drow parent and a human who also has dark skin? His own interpretation is different, so this isn't how she looks, but it's interesting nonetheless. I also learned I have no idea how to draw cornrows.
