I recently came across this contest , and after having a brilliant idea, I just had to participate!
You had to design your vision of Mega Mewtwo Z. So at first I couldn't find a concept for it, as I was not planning to participate. But then this came up my mind, and I started drawing.

The concept is actually a Speed form Mewtwo. As Mega Mewtwo X was Attack, and Mega Mewtwo Y was Special Attack, I wanted to base it on Defence (in general) or Speed. And since Mewtwo is one of the fastest Pokémon in existence, I thought Speed was the better option. But I couldn't come up with a good design... And then I thought about XLR8, that Ben10 alien. I based the design roughly on that. I also wanted to have at least a slight hint to the Z part, and my first sketch had this kink in the tail. I kept that in further sketches. The head doesn't have horns because that's more aerodynamic, and the eye color is green, becaus I assume that will be the color of the game, as it is Zygarde's main color (And since Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y had blue and red eyes respectively). Flame Body is because he's so fast you can't touch him, or you'll burn yourself.

Ik kwam onlangs voorbij deze wedstrijd , en nadat ik een briljante ingeving had moest ik wel meedoen!

Je moest je visie op Mega Mewtwo Z uitbeelden. In het begin had ik er niet echt een idee voor, maar toen was ik ook nog niet van plan om er aan mee te doen. Maar ik begon er toch over na te denken, en die avond kreeg ik een idee.

En omdat Mewtwo een van de snelste Pokémon is, was Speed een betere keuze. Maar zoals ik al zei kon ik niet echt op iets komen, tot ik aan XLR8 dacht, die alien van Ben10. Ik heb hem daar dus losjes op gebaseerd. Ik wou ook een subtiele hint geven naar het hele Z gebeuren, en in mijn vroege schetsen had zijn staart een knik, die ik heb gehouden. Het hoofd heeft geen hoorns, want dat zou minder aerodynamisch zijn en de oogkleur is groen, want ik vermoed dat dat de kleur van Z gaat zijn, ook omdat het Zygardes hoofdkleur is (en omdat Mega Mewtwo X en Mega Mewtwo Y respectievelijk blauwe en rode ogen hebben). Ten slotte is er Flame Body omdat hij zo snel is dat je hem niet kan aanraken zonder dat je jezelf brandt.
