No Hiatus sketches here; just practice for the sketch I went on to do. Freakin' Celestia, man. That bitch is tall.

I was going to quickly draw a generic pony for scaling purposes before moving on to drawing the Princess, but I got stuck with the hind legs. I tried for half an hour to correctly draw a standard pony's hind legs and in the end it's still a bit iffy. Just when I think I'm getting better at art, this happens. Life is suffering.

Anyway I drew PC and then had another go at drawing a generic pony but this time I drew the legs too short and accidentally a filly. Made it Scootaloo for fun and profit.

Pinkie Pie in the top-left is a later addition, done as a warm-up the same way generic pony was. The difference was that I found it really easy to draw Pinkie and get her legs and head looking correct. I didn't really try with her mane and tail anyway so I don't mind that they look sub-par.
