Description
The first Rainbow Dash is by ~Graffston , and as you can see, I had to make up a bit. Basically, I used this image as reference for her head and hair, but the body and legs I pretty much drew myself, hence their mild shittiness. (The tail and wings I went and borrowed from my second sketch, after I did that.) The cutie mark is poor, the whole thing is a little off-balance, and frankly I could have done better. Since it was by this point 3am, I'm not surprised I rushed a little.

The second Rainbow was from panel one of that comic by =Veggie55 . As I recall, it was 3.30am when I drew this one, and I couldn't focus any more than on my last. I just picked a full-body pose and got to work. Her face -- the eyes in particular -- could be cleaned up, but it isn't really worth it. I think I may have learnt my lesson with these two sketches: when it's late, concentrate. Hey, that rhymes. No, stay away, it's my saying now.

BOOM. Several months later, I completed that beautiful sketch on the far left. Originally by ~Pony-Spiz , I saw it in an EqD Drawfriend and thought to myself that it seemed simple enough for me to be able to copy it. I finally got around to doing so, and I'm understandably very pleased with the results. I tried a new system of pencils and erasers to complete this sketch more cleanly than any drawing I've done before, and with a few more adjustments I think it'll make a great system.
