I recently found a very cool free animation software on the web called pencil .Its very useful for quick pencil test's or rough animation or if you can't really afford the more high priced software at the moment. Heres a quick sack animation I did while figuring out how to use it

Nice work dude! The pillow drop was executed quite well, although you should have added some secondary movement after fall. also I seen a bit of a scale difference from the start to the end. I don't know if that was intendtional but, it not that bad. your style is super cool and has much swagg! and by that I Mean,
I would sleep on that pillow. lol! Overall, your lines are a little loose and bouncy but that's okay cuz, I see that that is apart of your style and it awesome. you've earn my pair of eyes. you can return the favor if you'd like. ^_^ much love and keep drawing hot artist you ( no homo) . XD

It's a nice start. The main thing that stands out is that I feel it needs a lot more easing in and out to and from holds. Everything kind of zips by all at one quick speed. Timing is always key, and if you just find a nice balance of fast and slow, your flour sack will really start getting a personality. For example, when the flour sack falls from the sky, perhaps it can lay there for a beat. From there it can either slowly, groggily get to it's feet, or perhaps it can then jump into action. I know you're just messing with the software, but you requested a critique. Haha!

I agree with everything you said here sir I think I might have the fps set too high in the software I wil have to fix that and I have to figure out how to go back and put some inbetweens in this was just some basic straight ahead animating without any planning just to get the feel of the programme

Pretty slick little bit of animation. Did you like using Pencil? I've seen it online as an alternative to pricey Flash of Toonboom, but haven't tried it myself. Have tried to do some animation in Photoshop, but that was pretty labor intensive.

Thanks man , Yeah pencil is great if you don't have the budget for a major piece of animation software but you don't get as many bells and whistles as you would with Flash or Toonboom.PS can be a bit of a pain to animate with and its very easy to lose track of frames if you don't name them

Awesome! I've heard that the flour sack is a good way to start animating. Never done it myself but it's sure looked like a lot of fun to do.
