Woohoo! 1000 hits! To acknowledge this milestone, here's a girl pumping up with mechanical help.Like my other pieces, this is based on a cartoon image I found and modified. Here I've learned enough Paint Shop Pro to have colored it and added the mods digitally rather than with a scanned pencil image. I have a long way to go to begin being facile with PSP, but this seemed a good time and place to show what I've learned.

Well, I can't take too much credit for her cuteness, since I sort of Rotoscoped another drawing for the figure, but I did do the boobs, the color and the overall scene. But thanks.

Congrats, man. Hmm... you started to make the drawing fully on the computer, as in not only editing a pic, but tracing it on a new image. Thats a good change already

Yes, I'm pleased to have come this far, considering how little time I have to give to drawing. I remember seeing a short "tutorial" on becoming a cartoonist: it showed 3 or 4 steps in drawing a simple character, and then finished with "repeat 1000 times." Sigh.

Thanks. I know what you mean by the eyes, but I haven't the skill yet to know what to fix! I just move my drawing implement around and about 10-20% of the time I can get something to come out reasonable. Nothing very repeatable yet, though!
