Description
A bold and rather determined fennec fox going about its business in a desert landscape with the setting sun adding dramatic colours and tones to the dusk skies and sand dunes.Soft pastels and pastel pencil. Digital edits.

Thank you very much! I don't normally like this ridged paper normally, but perhaps it works with this art work. Its all made it all up really, I just mixed in the different colour pastels with vigorous finger rubbing where it felt right. I got quite messy really!

Yes pastels are like charcoal/chalk sticks but available in many colours, they can get very powdery so can be messy sometimes. They are very good for doing clouds and sunset skies though!

xD yeah, I remember using some, it's very smooth if I remember well, but I was in kindergarden- Though I'm in art school, so they might give us some at some point, we have people that graduated from the school coming in class and giving us fun things to do instead of drawing cubes for four hours- xD Hopefully..this quarentine is in the way of a lot of fun things to do. At least we can mess up our desks xD

Yes its a good time to try new things, not used pastels for a while so did a series of works recently. They are very quick to use and I've done my next artwork already. I might post it at some point
